It’s hard to believe, but the first month of 2015 is almost over! Hopefully you are still in full swing with your New Years resolutions, but if not, maybe we can help! Please join ISC Cherry Hill in our efforts to give back this year by supporting the New Jersey Chapter of the Pajama Project.
Anyone who supports this charity through ISC Cherry Hill will receive FREE skating admission to a Saturday or Sunday skate session, as a thank you for giving back to the local community.
Still not sure what the Pajama Project is? Here are some great facts about this beautiful charity:
- The Pajama Project was founded in 2001 by Genevieve Piturro and co-founded by Alice Quirk. Maria, a shelter child, was the catalyst for this charity. Her overwhelming awe and joy in her new pajamas (a clothing item that she had never worn or heard of), has remained in the founders’ minds and heart
- The mission of this charity is to provide NEW pajamas and NEW books to children in need, nationwide.
- Many of the children who receive items from this charity are those waiting to be adopted or whose families are well below the poverty line.s.
If you resolved to make a difference this year, please consider donating to Project Pajama. Brighten a child’s day with some new pajamas or books, items many of these kids have never had the privilege to receive.
Show you care today and give back with ISC Cherry Hill. We’ll reward your charitable nature with an awesome skate pass, but the real gift will be in your heart!
